Naya Kang Peak Climbing
Naya Kang Peak (5,844 m) rises to the west of Ganja La is marvelously situated in the Langtang region of Nepal. Naya Kang is a popular and difficult mountain to climb. It has become renowned ever since the British mountaineer Bill Tilman described it as the most beautiful valley in the world. The normal route to this peak is via the snowy north-east ridge. This trekking peak climbing can be accomplished in Langtang valley. You will be utterly speechless at the stunning views of Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and mighty Shishapangma (8027m) in Tibetan side as it adds reward to your ambition of peak climbing. The Langtang valley is also known as the treasure house of Alpine plants. The whole valley is covered with flowers during the summer. This high and isolated region is populated by Tamangs whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to Tibetan.
The trip starts SyabruBensi we drive from Kathmandu to SyabruBensi and we walk through the dense forests of Bamboo, Oaks, pines and Mapples following the narrow valley along Langtang Khola to the north-east. We cross the Langtang Khola south of Kyangjin Gompa and trek to Naya Kang Basecamp for the Naya Kang Peak Climbing. We set up high camp and start the climbing from there. From the summit it can view the spectacular scenery of the mountains of Nepal such as Langtang lirung, Dorje Lhakpa, Gang Chhenpo, Ganesh himal ranges, Manaslu Ranges to Annapurna ranges, mighty Sishapangma(8013m) in tibet aswell the great views of the valley on the south including Kathmandu.
